We are seeking an Engineering Assistant Manager or Senior Engineer to join their Selangor operations. This is a high-impact role designed for a technical expert ready to drive engineering excellence and mentor a high-performing team within a prestigious manufacturing environment.

about the job

• Lead all engineering project activities from kick-off to completion while acting as the primary contact for customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Develop 2D and 3D factory layouts for facilities and machinery and lead feasibility studies for jig designs and production processes.
• Supervise daily manufacturing operations including manpower planning and machine capacity optimization to consistently hit quantity, quality, and cost targets.
• Negotiate lead times and pricing with suppliers and work closely with the HOD on departmental budgeting and overall cost control initiatives.
• Identify recurring production bottlenecks and implement long-term solutions to boost departmental performance and efficiency.
• Establish SOPs and maintain strict ISO standards to ensure all output meets the company’s high-quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage team discipline including attendance and overtime monitoring in the role of Group Leader.

about the experience

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the industrial machinery or manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrate professional fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively coordinate with local teams, regional suppliers, and international stakeholders.
• Showcase a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects and navigating stakeholder relationships across internal and external boundaries.
• Possess high proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for 2D and 3D data handling, factory layout design, and technical drawing interpretation.
• Apply hands-on expertise in jig and fixture design, process engineering, and feasibility studies alongside strong commercial negotiation skills with vendors.
