Manufacturing Manager – Kluang

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage manufacturing operation across higher-level assembly, electromechanical builds, and supporting production processes.Ensure manufacturing readiness and execution support for NPI programs, including pilot builds, ramp-ups, and transition to stable production.Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure seamless execution across functions.Establish and enforce standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and shop0floor discipline to ensure consistent quality and repeatability.Provide strong floor leadership, resolving daily production issue related to manpower, materials, equipment and process constraints.Oversee production planning alignment to build priorities in a high-mix low-volume environment with frequent changes.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen manufacturability, productivity, and operational robustness.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements, including cleanroom and semiconductor specific standards where applicable.Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and technicians to build a capable and engaged production team.Support supplier and customer engagements related to manufacturing execution, build readiness, and quality alignment.Act as the escalation point for complex manufacturing, quality, and delivery challenges, ensuring timely resolution.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.3–6+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within semiconductor capital equipment, EMS, or high-mix low-volume manufacturing environments.Prior experience in a manufacturing leadership or managerial role is required.Strong background in electromechanical assembly, higher-level assembly, or complex system builds.Experience supporting NPI programs and production ramp-ups in engineering-driven environments.Exposure to cleanroom manufacturing and semiconductor OEM requirements is an advantage.
