Data Center Field Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Field Engineer to join our operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of reliability and performance for our data center infrastructure, ensuring seamless 24/7 operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance

• Execute daily preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of all primary and backup critical infrastructure systems (power, cooling, security).
• Perform comprehensive facility inspections, critical system health checks, and functional testing to proactively identify potential risks.

Incident & Alarm Management

• Respond swiftly to mechanical and electrical alarms or faults; analyze recurring patterns to implement root-cause solutions and prevent future occurrences.

Emergency Response & Business Continuity

• Actively participate in emergency response protocols and incident management procedures.
• Serve on standby rotation to ensure continuous operational coverage and rapid response capability.

Customer & Project Support

• Manage customer service requests and equipment deliveries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with design and construction teams to support installation projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2 years of hands-on experience in Date Centre or M&E experience in building/construction industry
• Strong commitment to operational excellence with a result-driven mindset
• Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to details
