  • Manufacturing industry• 5.5 working days/week• Located at Perai, PenangPrimary Objective• To lead, optimize, and scale all manufacturing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-precision components through operational excellence, lean methodologies, and a high-performing workforce.Job Responsibilities1. Operational Excellence & Supply Chain• Production Planning: Execute strategic production plans to guarantee On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery and meet high-quality customer specifications.• Asset Management: Oversee daily equipment maintenance and reliability (TPM) to maximize uptime and operational longevity.• Flow Optimization: Implement 5S and workflow methodologies to maintain a world-class manufacturing environment• Inventory Control: Manage materials and logistics to ensure seamless supply chain fluidity and lean inventory levels.2. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement• Systems Compliance: Uphold a quality management system compliant with ISO standards and stringent international client requirements.• Defect Reduction: Monitor quality metrics and drive root-cause analysis (CAPA) to minimize internal waste and customer complaints.• Lean Leadership: Lead Six Sigma and Lean projects to optimize plant performance, profitability, and cost-saving initiatives.3. HSE & Regulatory Compliance• Safety Leadership: Act as the site’s primary safety officer, fostering a "Zero Accident" culture through drills, training, and hazard identification.• Legal Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with the Malaysian Employment Act, Environmental Quality Act, and corporate HSE standards.• Sustainability: Manage waste, emissions, and energy consumption to meet environmental protection goals.4. Leadership & Financial Control• Team Development: Structure and grow the production and warehouse teams; assisting HR in recruitment, performance appraisals, and talent retention.• Culture Building: Foster a high-efficiency, accountable, and cross-cultural collaborative work atmosphere.• P&L Support: Formulate and manage the workshop budget, strictly controlling direct labor, overheads, and material variances to boost profitability.Job Requirements• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.• Diploma holder with hands on experience in Production Manager / Plant Manager / Factory Manager or similar will be considered.• 10 – 15 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a management/ Senior management role within a medium-sized factory.• Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.• Soft Skills: Strong cross-cultural leadership, analytical problem-solving, and decisive communication skills.• Required for cross-border and local stakeholder management• Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Malaysian manufacturing, legal, and commercial landscape.• Must willing to work at Perai• 5.5 working days/week• 1 vacancy available
