Project Directors/Deputies/Sr Managers (Overall Data Centre Construction) PMC

Client is a multinational PMC who is currently active in various data centre construction projects, hiring project directors/deputy directors for overall delivery of data centre construction projects.

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the overall delivery of the data center project, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring satisfaction and managing expectations throughout the project.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and security standards specific to data center construction.
• Commercial Management: Oversee contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and financial performance of the project.
• Program Management: Direct the master schedule, critical path analysis, and integration of multiple workstreams (e.g., MEP, IT, security).
• Quality & Commissioning: Ensure the facility meets Tier standards (e.g., Uptime Institute) and is delivered defect-free, ready for operational handover.

Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3–5 years in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Must have end-to-end experience for at least two Data Centre projects, from early planning/schematic design to completion of Ready for Service (RFS).
• Degree in Engineering (CSA or MEP), or Construction Management.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes.

Leadership & Communication

• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants and contractors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including reporting and presentations.

Other Attributes

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and risk management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in Southeast Asia or similar regional markets is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM18,000.00 - RM36,000.00 per month
