Planning Managers (Data Centre Construction Projects) International PMC

The Planning Manager/Engineers coordinates project lifecycles, develops strategic plans, manages resources (budget, time, personnel), and ensures compliance with regulations to achieve organizational goals. They analyze data, track performance against milestones, mitigate risks, and facilitate communication across departments. Key responsibilities include creating schedules, overseeing supply chain/inventory, and producing progress reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Scheduling: Developing comprehensive project plans, defining project phases, and creating time-cycle charts for major activities.
• Resource Allocation & Management: Managing budgets, personnel, and equipment to ensure optimal, cost-effective operations.
• Monitoring & Control: Tracking project progress, comparing planned versus actual results, and identifying areas needing intervention to avoid delays.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Acting as a central hub between departments (e.g., production, sales, procurement) to align goals.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans.
• Reporting & Analysis: Analyzing data to forecast future trends, preparing performance reports, and presenting updates to stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• Experience: Previous experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management in construction especially in data centre construction
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project), data analysis tools, and, in some cases, ERP systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
